AN EASY WAY TO SUPPORT THE PCC!

Do you know that only 23 people have their Kroger card registered to benefit the PCC? Despite that small number, they still receive close to $300 quarterly from this promotion. If you have not registered your Kroger Shopper's Card, please do so and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Just think of how we could increase this income stream with 100 or more people using it to support PCC. Registering is simple:
Go to the Kroger.com website and sign in (or set up your rewards account if
you haven't already). Once you are signed in, click on "Community" and
"Kroger Community Rewards" - then enter the PCC # (82294) and save.
Thank you!

PLEASE KEEP OUR PCUSA MISSION WORKERS, JIM AND JODI MCGILL AND FAMILY, IN PRAYER AS THEY BEGIN THEIR NEW ASSIGNMENT IN NIGER THIS MONTH.

Volunteers greet visitors to the church, answer the telephone, and provide administrative support to the staff. There is also plenty of quiet time to enjoy! We have morning and afternoon shifts available. We particularly need help on Monday mornings. If you can help, please call Kitty Mortara (354-2347). Thank you!

TIME FOR CENTERING PRAYER

What is Centering Prayer? Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to experience God’s presence within us. Centering Prayer is not meant to replace other kinds of prayer. Rather, it adds a depth of meaning to all other ways of praying. Centering Prayer emphasizes prayer as a personal relationship with God and as a movement beyond conversation with Christ to a deeper, and peaceful communion with Him. A group for Centering Prayer meets every Wednesday afternoon, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM, and every Thursday evening, from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, in the Red Room. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Judi Barnes.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

Weather-related cancellations for church services and activities will be posted on television stations WDBJ7 and WSLS10, and listed on our church website and social media.
