“Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25

Fellowship, known as Covenant Community, exists to promote fellowship and caring within the church, strengthening the bonds that ties people to each other.

Covenant enjoys coming together as family and friends and spending time in fellowship. Below are just a few opportunities to participate in our Covenant Community.

Wednesday Night Dinner’s run for a season in both the fall and the spring from 5:30-7:00 PM with a program during the later portion of the evening. Our programs have featured Covenant’s musical talents as well as other gifts such as storytelling, quilting, and jewelry making.  We have also learned more about our mission ministries through various programs.  Please see our announcements page for the latest details.

Summer Concert Series presents the greatest musical talents from our congregation.  Each month a free concert is hosted on the lawn at Covenant.  In addition to live music we have food and ice cream trucks on site and activities for the children as well as an open playground.  Bring your lawn chairs and blankets!

Luncheons and Receptions are a large part of our time together. We love to celebrate milestones and holidays by feasting.  We regularly host potluck luncheons after worship or breakfasts on the lawn.  We hold receptions for celebrating Confirmation, Graduate Sunday, and more.

Circle of Friends is a women’s circle dedicated to fellowship and study for the women of our church.  The circle meets monthly and congregates in the homes of members.  Please check our announcements for upcoming meetings, women of all ages are invited to attend.

Four Seasons Senior Lunch Group is a gathering of Covenant’s senior members.  The group meets quarterly at The Roanoker Restaurant.

Congregational Care

Covenant has a wonderful Congregational Care team that participates in the life of the church by providing support to church members and the pastoral staff by engaging with members in both the trials and joys of life.  Congregational Care assists with families in difficult times by visiting, offering prayer, and providing meals.  The team is also on hand in times of grief to provide support to families both in the home and for services of Witness to the Resurrection at the church.
