SUNDAY WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

Christ Connections Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 AM.

Worship at 10:30 AM.

A professionally staffed nursery is provided for young children.
Children’s Worship is held for children through grade 2 during the worship service.

The Missions Ministry Team encourages you to prayerfully consider making a personal donation to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for Hurricane Relief. You can mail a check directly to PDA. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29, 4:00 PM-6:00 PM House Church and Dinner @ the Allen’s!

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5: Collect Trick or Treat S.O.M.E. bags from the congregation before worship, have lunch together at Covenant after worship, then collect bags from neighborhoods, and deliver to the PCC.   (No evening Youth Group.)

PLEASE JOIN YOUR COVENANT FAMILY FOR “FELLOWSHIP WITH A FLAIR” THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18, FROM 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

For dinner this week, Chef Amy is preparing fried chicken with peas, mashed potatoes, bread, and a salad bar, with lemon bars for dessert. Adults and children age 11 and over are $9.00, children ages 5 – 10 are $4.00, with a family maximum of $25.00. Please sign up on the Friendship Pad in worship, or call the church office by noon on Monday. Take-out meals are also available. After dinner at 6:30 PM, we have a Double Header: Enjoy “For Your Musical Entertainment” with Joyce Woods and her piano students, and welcome Captain Andy Seiler from the Salvation Army to share Christmas Volunteer Opportunities. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

HIKING TRIP TO CASCADE FALLS:

Join Pastor Kyle on a hiking trip to Cascade Falls, Friday, October 20. We plan to leave the Church parking lot at 8:00 AM and return between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. So dust off your hiking shoes and pack a lunch for a picnic after the hike. Drinks will be provided. This is a moderate 4 mile (round trip) hike with steps. Signup in Heritage Hall today! COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH’S WOMAN TO WOMAN TWELFTH ANNUAL FALL GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT IS COMING SOON!

Mark your calendars and SAVE the DATE for Monday, October 30, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM at Covenant Presbyterian. Join us for a night celebrating old friends and making new ones! Come enjoy a catered dinner, followed by an inspirational program. Our speaker this year is Montenique Finney, Ph.D., LCP., and her topic centers on the theme Friends for Life – examining the importance and power of spiritual friendships in the spiritual life. SAVE THE DATE FOR OUR FALL CLEAN-UP DAY

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, FROM 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Please join us for a fun time of work and fellowship as we clean up our church grounds. Bring your work gloves, brooms, rakes, shovels, clippers, trimmers, and wheelbarrows! Come enjoy a few hours working together to maintain our beautiful landscaping. 106 HOURS!!

BRING IN YOUR PULL-UP TABS BEFORE OCTOBER 20th!

Temple Emanuel is still collecting pull-up tabs from cans for their Holocaust remembrance project. They are close to their goal of 1,500,000 tabs, and have scheduled presentations of “A Holocaust Survivor’s Story” for Friday, November 10, at 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM at Temple Emanuel. There is a container for the pull-up tabs in Heritage Hall, by the Missions bulletin board. After the presentation, all tabs will be donated to The Ronald McDonald House for their fundraising efforts. Thank you for your help!
