SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING has begun!

Covenant folks will be ringing the bell at the Cave Spring Corners Kroger again this Christmas season! It is a great way to greet friends and neighbors during the Christmas season, and a real opportunity for families to serve others and have fun, too! This is the most important fundraising effort for the Salvation Army and its success is critical to the relief agency’s continued operations. Everyone is invited to participate, so please sign up in Heritage Hall today!

CHANCEL CHANGES:

Session has approved certain modifications to the chancel to facilitate the use and maintenance of the new organ console and to enhance our worship experience in multiple ways. The work will be done by our in-house craftsmen staying within a $4000 budget. In a few weeks you may notice these changes:

  • The console loft and surrounding railing are a few inches lower.
  • A smooth hardwood floor in front of the choir and extending to the organ console will be installed.
  • Railings will also be equipped for temporary removal on special occasions.
