SUNDAY WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

Christ Connections Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 AM.

Worship at 10:30 AM.

A professionally staffed nursery is provided for young children.
Children’s Worship is held for children through grade 2 during the worship service.

“HOLY HUNCH” BIBLE STUDY

meets on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Blue Room. Dr. Kyle Allen and Rev. Loren Tate Mitchell lead an informal discussion of the scriptures highlighted in upcoming sermons. All are welcome!

PLEASE JOIN YOUR COVENANT FAMILY FOR “FELLOWSHIP WITH A FLAIR” THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25, FROM 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

For dinner this week, Chef Amy is preparing pulled pork barbecue, baked beans, cole slaw, Sister Schubert rolls, and a salad bar, with chocolate chip bundt cake for dessert. Adults and children age 11 and over are $9.00, children ages 5 – 10 are $4.00, with a family maximum of $25.00. Please sign up on the Friendship Pad in worship, or call the church office by noon on Monday. Take-out meals are also available. After dinner at 6:30 PM, join Jerry Barnes for an update and “show-and-tell” on our organ. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5: Collect Trick or Treat S.O.M.E. bags from the congregation before worship, have lunch together at Covenant after worship, then collect bags from neighborhoods, and deliver to the PCC.   (No evening Youth Group.)

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH’S WOMAN TO WOMAN TWELFTH ANNUAL FALL GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT IS COMING SOON!

Mark your calendars for Monday, October 30, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM at Covenant Presbyterian. Join us for a night celebrating old friends and making new ones! Come enjoy a catered dinner, followed by an inspirational program. Our speaker this year is Montenique Finney, Ph.D., LCP., and her topic centers on the theme Friends for Life – examining the importance and power of spiritual friendships in the spiritual life. The registration form is available on Covenant’s website and by email at wtwcovenant@yahoo.com. The WTW Committee will be in Heritage Hall this Sunday for registration assistance.

PCC CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY

OUR ANNUAL PCC CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY will be held on Monday, December 4 at 5:45 PM. Please sign-up today to sponsor a child. Each sponsor is ask to spend $50 to purchase a gift of clothing for your child and bring it wrapped along with a vegetable or salad dish  and a dozen Christmas cookies to the dinner party. Chicken will be furnished. Come be a part of an important ministry by sharing the spirit of Christmas with children. The sign-up poster is in Heritage Hall. FALL CLEAN-UP DAY

OUR FALL CLEAN UP DAY IS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Please join us for a fun time of work and fellowship as we clean up our church grounds. Bring your work gloves, brooms, rakes, shovels, clippers, trimmers, and wheelbarrows! Come enjoy a few hours working together to maintain our beautiful landscaping. (Rain Date: Saturday, November 11.)

COVENANT’S GOT TALENT:

Join us for dinner and a show on Saturday, November 11th, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM! The time is near for an incredible evening of fabulous food and outstanding entertainment. Our own Scott Ramsburg will be the MC for the evening. In this Veteran’s Day event, a tribute to our veterans and active military personnel will be given. A dinner of tender, slow cooked pot roast, garden fresh salad, Irish white potatoes, savory carrots, warm bread, and a sweet, delectable dessert will be served family style at 6:00 PM. Children age 10 and under will have cheese pizza and dessert. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 5-10, and free for children 4 and under. Tickets go on sale October 29! Due to space, seating will be limited.

ORGAN UPDATE:

 During this Wednesday night’s after-dinner program, you’ll have an opportunity to see and learn what it took to make an organ like ours operate over 135 years ago (1880). Don’t miss this chance to get a souvenir piece from the old wind chests and take home a small piece of history! Testing of the new organ (right side only) continues. 106 HOURS!!

Thank you for giving your PULL-UP TABS for Temple Emanuel’s Holocaust Remembrance Project

With your help, they reached their goal of 1,500,000 tabs! You are invited to attend their presentation of “A Holocaust Survivor’s Story” on Friday, November 10, at 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM at Temple Emanuel. (After the presentation, all of the tabs collected will be donated to The Ronald McDonald House for their fundraising efforts.)
