SUNDAY WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

Christ Connections Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 AM.

Worship at 10:30 AM.

A professionally staffed nursery is provided for young children.
Children’s Worship is held for children through grade 2 during the worship service.

ADVENT DEVOTIONS FOR ALL AGES:

Look under the Chrismon Tree for printed copies of Adult Advent Devotions written by our church members for each week of Advent! You will also find stockings with Children & Youth Advent Devotions for children & youth written and prepared by Rev. Loren Tate Mitchell that engage multiple learning styles! Please limit one per family.

HELP THE SALVATION ARMY THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON:

Fill a Christmas stocking or two for the children of families served by the Salvation Army. They particularly need stockings filled for older children. Look for the stockings and collection boxes in Heritage Hall. Please return filled stockings by Sunday December 17. Thank you!

CHRISTMAS GATHERING for COLLEGE AND EARLY CAREER YOUNG ADULTS:

2017 CHRISTMAS “SPIRIT OF GIVING”:

What do you give to “someone that has everything”? You can make a meaningful gift for Mission Malawi, Guatemala, Guatemala, or the Presbyterian Community Center! Gift cards are available on the display table in Heritage Hall for you to present to the persons you wish to honor with a mission gift. Specific suggestions for the 2017 Christmas “Spirit of Giving” are waiting at the display table. Please make checks payable to Covenant Presbyterian Church and write in the memo line your gift of choice. Fill out the gift form and place both the check and the form in the offering place, leave them with Kim in the church office, or mail them to the church. Thank you from all those in need of the hope that the birth of Christ brings!

SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING:

Covenant folks are ringing the bell at the Cave Spring Corners Kroger again this year! What a great way to greet friends and neighbors during the Christmas season, and a real opportunity for families to serve others and have fun, too! This is the most important fundraising effort for the Salvation Army and its success is critical to the relief agency’s continued operations. There are still times available for Saturday, December 23, so please sign up in Heritage Hall today! Contact Charlie Simmons with any questions.

Roanoke Valley Medical Mission presents the Second Annual Gamesteak Charity Dinner, on Saturday, January 27, at the Patrick Henry Hotel. RVMM is an organization founded by Dr. Ben Davis, and the Boca Costa Medical Mission in Guatemala is one of the projects they support.
